I draw and paint rather well infact when I left school I went to art college but dropped out after a year, well ok the truth is I was kicked out for drinking and fighting (which I both do rather well also)

Recognizing verbal accents--for some unknown reason I can identify where a person got their accent from when I have never been there or have never heard the accent before.

Example:
A few weeks ago I asked someone if they had ever been to Kolkata because of their accent (a city which I could not recognize from the dark side of the Moon ...). He said he was born there, moved to Delhi (India) at the age of 6, moved to Karachi (Pakistan) at 10, moved to Turin (Italy) at 24, moved to Toronto (Canada) at 31, moved to Saskatoon (Canada) ten years ago at 49--so how in heck did I know about Kolkata?!?

One drawback is I tend to unknowingly and unwillingly speak in the same accent of whoever I am talking to at the moment and some people feel this is an insult. Another is that I scare the hell out of myself.
