Two comics I remember reading(and I still have the wallet for Warlord and the badge btw) were Starlord and The Crunch, as well as Fireball(I have the pendant that was given away as well)-see Fireball scans below-credit to the original chap that did it for me.

The Herbs Bless This House (Ok not a kids prog but I used to love it) Out Of Town presented by the late Jack Hargreaves Hehe, as for sweets I remember getting packs of chocolate ciggys, each one wrapped in rolling paper.....you'd probably do time if you sold em to kids now there was also imitation sweet tobacco (spanish gold I think it was called). It's no wonder I smoke now. |

No it was Terrytoons well before Hanna Barbera became well known here-they shown in the early days of Channel Four here.

I can just about remember the 70's Pinky & Perky show and my sister had a non-stringed puppet of one of them-they were a huge phenomenon-forerunner to Spitting Image but not before Gerry Anderson had the idea with the likes of Twizzle(too young to remember that) & Torchy which I do remember seeing on the old Southern tv channel down in Littlehampton along with UFO in the mornings.
