Default Liberation Herm Ale

This is about as good a bottled beer as I’ve ever had.

From the Liberation Brewery on Jersey named after the beautiful little island just east of Guernsey.

Today's drink is from Germany: Tucher Dunkles Hefe Weizen. Pours a dark copper color and produces a firm dense cream colored head that does not go away. Has typical banana and clove flavors from a wheat beer, but also has some flavor of vanilla and citrus. Alcohol content 5.4%. Very good overall.

Not been a great day so I am back on the not-so-cheap Tesco Soave.

Maybe things will be better tomorrow.

I tried Averbode tripel today.

A nice minimal label, a well known name (the abbey, that is). So i assumed it wouldn't disappint.

And it didn't, this beer is fine. With a 7,5% and a correct flavor.

But, it is not anything adventurous or exceptional. it's just.. normally good

Evan Williams Kentucky bourbon.
A bit more expensive than Jim Beam, but meh, whatever. Still good booze.

Big Grin I`m drinking juice like I drink beers , so already finished off a one litre bottle this morning

Orange juice yesterday and it`ll be pineapple juice today as trying to kick a cough that`s surfaced. Kick the sod into touch before it takes hold and becomes one of the two evil Flu`s that have been doing the rounds these last few months. I`d managed to avoid those many ignorant open mouthed coughers up until Tuesday. When left of field got coughed at/on/over from less than four feet away Did the wrong thing to as had a semi mini brief rant at the cnut who`s hands appeared super glued into his pockets. Really should have held my own breath or exhaled .
Bah.
Instead by ... Ahem ... talking , inhaled his lurgy
