After long look, there seems to be a variety of things going on.

The first one (Tia Gunn) got requested again and solved without being found/linked, until now.
Not sure how to handle that one yet.
Maybe miri should get the MB solve on that one.

I think the second one got copied, instead of moved when it was solved, so I moved the MB post to the solved thread

Third one needed linking, and moved followup to the corner. Not solved yet.

Forth one was requested a second time by the original requester, then solved by the original requester. No points, so moved MB post to solved request thread, and put in the corner

Fifth one is like the first one, except second request is by the original requester
Folks, please don't duplicate your requests.

Seventh one not solved, but should be linked and F/U cornered, so I did it

Eighth one is two MB posts one followup and one other new request for the same girl.
Merged them all

Ninth one needed merging too

He requested the same girl 3 times within 2 months.

Eleventh is another dupe, linked & moved 2nd one to the corner and made it a F/U
This one by Denaniel

Twelfth is another dupe where the second one got solved, and the first was never connected.
This time by strgzzr, two weeks after the first one.
Points to miri again?

Please folks, no more duplicate requests!
They cause big headaches for us

The set of duplicates at the end could be a system fluke, or just got done twice by mistake.
I moved those dupes to trash.

Still need to decide what to do on the ones discovered/solved by miri

Would it be useful moving that post to somewhere "special"/distinctive/readily findable, i.e. maybe at the end of the Section Rules, Info & Help sticky? I understand why it's where it is now, but over time it effectively becomes "buried".

We have a new subforum called Solved Model ID Request Threads. The header there should be self-explanatory and we will be moving solved request threads into there as time permits. We may even go dumpster diving and move some which are no longer on the active forum. These are being moved there so the previous solves may help with future requests or for any other purpose the members may find beneficial. Also this area is closed to new posts so it simply serves as a reference.

I emphasize these threads will simply be moved there and will not be maintained with regard to dead links or images so no such reports, please. Any other comments or concerns may be posted here as usual. I hope some of you may find having these old threads available to be beneficial.

Sounds potentially useful. Just curious: is there a time "threshold" on when solved queries get moved there, or will that happen potentially up to as soon as they're marked solved? Not saying I want that, agnostic, just curious whether you'll be leaving them in MIR's main forum for a bit first in order to be "seen", or just processing them as quick as like/convenient.

Currently under consideration.

When thrashed out it makes sense to start at the back and work forward so a lot of the new thread will not be attended to for a while. If we've got an indication from the the member by way of thanks or a follow up post that they've seen it in inclined to move sooner rather than later.

Thinking aloud: there's perhaps the potential for double+ handling/complications, e.g. if a thread's marked solved but then someone disputes that?... which would be more difficult in the "solved" sub-forum. Yes, one could post such a dispute in this thread so that door's not closed, but maybe that's an incentive to wait a little before moving solved queries to the solved sub-forum, rather than straight after? /shrug/ It's not only the originator who wants/needs(?) to "see" the solution.

I think this can be marked as unsolved, as Fleabag's clearly stated mystery is not who he was meaning as Diane West. The question of which pic. he does think is DW is... interesting but kind of "secondary", at least to the query's status.
