Pet peeve: model vs perfprmer

It irks me to repeatedly see hardcore MIR threads asking "Who is this model".

I could be wrong, but I don't consider people doing hardcore to be models - I consider them to be performers.

Am I wrong?

Until there is a separate place for them, these threads should continue to go in MIR; just don't call them models.

Plenty of pornstars have profiles on purpleport , model-mayhem etc because their isnt enough mainstream porn work at times to keep them always in work

More than a few softcore models have been shown to have dabbled in harder work

Sites in recent times have started using the term adult model

I'd add use the 120 characters of title and first few lines of the post so anyone hovering over your request will get a detailed description
