I've been dedicated fan of Holmes and Watson since I discovered them at twelve and I have to say Sherlock is one of the best screen adaptation of the stories I've ever seen. It captures the spirit of Conan Doyle's stories perfectly.

Roman Empire Reign of Blood. The story of the reign of the Emperor Commodus. I can never get enough of Ancient Rome, fictional or factual, and it's a welcome change to see a story that isn't about Julius Caesar.

Timeless.
For a boy's own adventure tale about a terrorist time traveller, the righteous dudes trying to stop him and a mysterious, shadowy organisation, it's surprisingly deep. |

Season Two - Episode One - James May - The Re-assembler - Toy Train Set.
Oh joy. Big fat smile on my face all the way through. I love slow tv. I love shed telly.

I've been watching Black Mirror lately. Kind of different to what I'm used to watch. 1st episode of season 2 is probably the best, starring Hayley Atwell; not only the script is somewhat deep, but her acting is terrific.
Also episode 3x03 is kind of tough.

Usual Xmas shite.
Only two highlights for me. The Red Bull Soap Box Races on Dave (even though they were repeats) And Inside Number 9's 'Krampusnacht'- Sheersmith and Pemberton's Tale of the Unexpected with a 70s sex scandal twist. |
