I just don't understand Philly fans, myself. I have a cousin who's a huge Jets fans. He went to a preseason game in Philly wearing his Chad Pennington jersey several years ago & some douchebags in the stands wound up ripping the back of his jersey. They got kicked out of the stadium for it. Why would they be so rabid about the Jets? Those 2 teams play once every 4 years during the regular season. I understand all the hatred with the Giants, but the Jets?!!!

You can have mine - if you can find it - it's somewhere in the local garbage dump. I had a Vick Falcons jersey, but I trashed it when he was busted for the dog fighting. I became a large fan of his when he was at Va Tech. I felt disillusioned and betrayed by him.

Now that he's back in form, he's still one of the most electrifying players I've ever seen I sense my anger with him starting to thaw - I guess he's served his time, sort of As for all the debate in Philly re Vick vs Kolb - it's a no-brainer - Vick's a 3-time pro-bowler, a proven winner and a guy who can, at any moment, light a fire under his O, his team, and the fans.

If the Eagles don't want him, pass him on to my Bills - we need all the help we can get.

The thing about Philly fans is they think they have a rivalry with everybody that comes into their arena. That's what happens when you're geographically stuck in the middle of two more famous cities like NYC and Washington DC. They get an inferiority complex. They just like to pick fights is what it is.

Those cases like what happened to your brother are rare though. They might heckle other teams but they usually reserve that kind of intense hatred for the GIANTS and especially the Cowboys.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed too. I love dogs, cats and other furry pets. Took me awhile to get over it too. But he did time, paid heavy fines, lost endorsements and respect from everybody. I was surprised they even let him back in the NFL but since they did, I say, use him while you got him and let the man redeem himself. So far he looks like he's trying hard and doing very well. I hope he succeeds. I just hope the Philly organization doesn't sabotage itself like they usually do.

Now about that Falcons jersey, mate........
