I recall even in the 1980s that the KKK gave financial funding to Louis Farrakhan because he believed in segregation. In Ali's Supreme Court trial, Thurgood Marshall the first black Supreme Court judge voted against him because he was not a segregationist. |

I never understood that when the extreme right marches, there must be extreme left-wingers to cause riots
Let go of the right in the right to show it. It is very rare, when left-wingers marches, there is extreme right and cause any riots. |

The right wing response at many demonstrations is handled by the local police. In St. Louis recently, leftist protesters were beaten and hounded by police who stole the protesters' chant, "Whose Streets? Our Streets!" That must have been chilling to hear coming from jackbooted, heavily armed police who are supposed to "protect and serve" everyone. In the 60's, civil rights marchers in the South were routinely subjected to brutality from the police.

@BigTrain45: I concur. The right wing really believe in "police protection" and "military intelligence"...

Charlottesville murderer Fields pleads guilty to hate crimes
A US man jailed for murder after a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville has pleaded guilty to hate crimes at a court hearing.
James Alex Fields, 25, a professed neo-Nazi, was convicted on 29 of 30 counts in a deal to avoid the death penalty. Fields was sentenced last December to life in prison after driving his car into counter-protesters in 2017, killing one person and injuring dozens. He previously claimed he acted out of fear for his safety. As an aside, has anyone ever noticed the basic "schtick" of the Klan is to try to have an unusual name, use alliteration of the letter K, and outlandish or humorous - sounding titles to get people's attention and get them to ask "What is that?"
Grand Dragon, Imperial Wizard, Exalted Cyclops. Kloran, Kleagle, Klavern. Their use of "K" or "Kl" alliteration is obvious, but also their title system of Dragons, Wizards, and Cyclopses sounds like a cross of Dungeons and Dragons and horror movies. Mississippi Burning? |

In some cases bans, cancel culture, and segregation works. Nice is a weapon. Sometimes a pre - emptive strike and disarm is necessary. A good story about keeping the riff raff out regardless of the rules of civility.

Nice is a weapon. Ignorance is a disease. Kill them with kindness.
