Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

Too many women have too much bad tattoo art flung on - 'slag tags' across the back, horrific climbing plants entwining their way, looking like varicose vein covers, dream catchers, gothic suns,...my sister in law has a lovely butterfly in the small of her back which symbolises her emergence from a crap marriage. I can understand that - but she was more attractive without in all honesty. I've seen some fantastic tattoo art, beautifully rendered but as fascinating and admirably executed as it might be, I'm still firmly in the 'NO' camp. Which, I'm told, makes me 'old'.
