Stress and Anger - Page 6

I usually try not to let myself get that angry but usually I go for a walk or for a scenic drive, a few months back me and my wife got into a huge fight and I left the house and as I was going out my back gate I punched the back wall and broke my hand. So being dumb doesn't help. Usually a walk clears the mind and allows you to see what you couldn't in the fog of an argument.

During 20 years I was used to ride my bicycle during at least one hour or hit my punching bag.
Today I read books or watch documentaries, films or downloaded philosophical class from youtube on the sofa with my cat.

Listen to some music or watch a dvd (sometimes Dirty Harry when the local idiots are causing trouble round our end and the police do f*** all about them.)

I never discovered that trick, if it was available. I just beat people to death till the police response was overwhelming. Rinse and repeat. It works for me.

Estreeter asked in the thread opener what we did to relieve stress and anger. I shared my use of FPS video games as a means of release that has worked for me. A game, to me at least, is just a game. I may be the exception, but actions a character I am playing inside a video game, do not necessarily correlate to actions I take in my real life.

What I will assume is an attempt at humor is in reality insulting.
