What started you love affair with vintage porn?

Mine started when I found magazines under my dads bed, they were mostly printed in the 70s and 80s, oddly the first mag was one of those that had dots and stars covering the penetration shots, I rescued some when he chucked them out and I still have them to this day...hopefully I will find some of the others he had on here including one very rare magazine

oh well, i'm not so hard in love with vintage porn, it's more like a sympathy. but it started with teresa orlowskis foxy lady 3 (especially jennifer jost) and went over to annette haven in swedish erotica superstars featuring bridgette monet (german version) and miami spice with the hot amber lynn, jeanette littledove and candie evens

i like the fact, that there are really good storybased movies of this time and not only bangbanginandout like so many "movies" today. it was simply more erotic and not the hardcore-women-are-garbage-shit.

I would go along with Slayer80's comments above. I think it is the attitude towards women in modern porn that I am uneasy with in the majority of productions; as well as the loss of quality/care taken in the product as a whole, in particular the scripts. A good film should be a good film irrespective of its genre and I have yet to see a porn film in the last 20 years that would make my top 100 of all time.

One of the things that got me started and hooked was the thrill of buying the mags. You know when that girl behind the counter who you fancy gives you that look of disdain and slight disgust cos she knows whats on your mind. then that feeling of spending time with the girls of your choice.

Actually it was a girl at work who new that my boss (who had great respect for me) was the keeper of the porn key, and she wanted to borrow one for an evening of lurrrve with her husband. She was too shy to ask him, so asked me to ask his. Not sure why she was not too shy to ask me........ perhaps her marriage was in trouble......don't really know. Ah nice girl. anyway I borrowed said tape and copied it (as you would) (if you could) (it was a long time ago and not too many people had a VHS machine, never mind two!)
