I've been experiencing problems with Imagevenue for several days now. To start with it was just some (approx. 50%) of the full-sized images refusing to load after clicking on the thumbnails. However, since yesterday even the thumbs aren't showing up. The forum seems to be half full of "empty" posts.
EG: Edited to add - I'm assuming that this isn't the same for every one - I've just been thanked for this post, in which I used Imagevenue and in which the thumbnails don't show up for me. |

???
A near perfect echo of my on experience Dimwit! I've been using Imagevenue for years now and haven't been aware of it being as chronic as this before. Does this tend to be a blip that lasts for a while and then subsides? Or is maybe something a bit more problematic...and might mean a forced route to elsewhere? I have so much material in the Imagevenue archives....the mind boggles!
I'm glad Dimwit's mentioned that not everyone is experiencing the same level of problem...I've been at about 25% viewing for the past 2 days...and this is repeated when I got into Imagevenue direct. Cheers for saving my sanity- I was actually wondering how the hell folk could thank me for posted images I can't see!!! Ho hum.............................. Dimwit I have been having similar problems for ages now, like this;
This is in Firefox, if I use IE the boxes are just red exes (x). It is either imagehosts or something else. I don't know. It is usually imagebam/imagevenue pictures that do not show.

Imagevenue
Ah...healthier...about 10 out of 413,000 now actually seem to be registering a Imagevenue head-scratch! It's often ironic to me that in this age of so-called ultra communication, we're often left in the lurch when big sites like IV have gremlins. They seem so detached. I would maybe ask myself if it's because they're so big and free, but VEF is also free and we were all very well informed when the recent meltdown took place.
Still head-scratching! |

Make that 11, I seem to be having IV viewing problems too.
I thought it was just me, glad it isn't. |

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Imagevenue
My own viewing seems to be getting more limited as time goes on. Does anybody out there have a suggestion about how to tackle this. is it something that needs adjusted on computer settings? Or maybe a piece of software? Or is it a glitch in their own servers?
I've dropped a line to their general email (on gmail) but I'm not holding out much hope on a response. |

I'm experiencing the same missing pics with posts which I believe to be Imageavenue...
Using Firefox but Slimbrowser doesn't show either though give's a tiny thmnail box with a red X in it which when clicked says the link (Imageavenue) cannot be opened. |

ha ha mashedpotato.
A lot more people than 10 or 11 or 12 I assure you...just the vocal and brave shout it out here...the rest think it's their problem. Anyways...Count me in. My work around? [Mac OSX, Firefox20, IHG] I save a link to the thread in the folder the pix are to reside in. Then I go back later and try again. It usually works the first re-try with both imagebam and imagevenue. |

IV
Thanks Name Hunter, although I'm not following exactly what your work around involves....
'in the folder the pics are to reside in'....which folder is this? I'm very easily confused!!!! I've had a kind response from IV and have dropped them another line to ask a few more things. If anything works and these oceans of red crosses disappear, I'll report it to all! |
