Could octvian have been misread from a written note; could ovarian be meant? I suppose a thread like this is inevitable in a vintage site, but it's making even grimmer reading than I thought it would. So many premature deaths

I think the nicest model ever.

According to her death certificate (of which I have a copy), it was due to cardiorespiratory arrest and myocardial infarction. She died on 12-11-2008, and her ashes were interred at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles on 12-31-2008 (I was there by chance and watched the short service, and, believe it or not, was the very first one of her fans to leave flowers).
