yui.yahooapis and slow loading pages

Anyone getting this url creating a page hang for about 30-45 seconds?

Not today but I saw this once. I just cleared the cache and reloaded. Loading yui.yahooapis.com took about 30 milliseconds. It is probably just temporary and it should be cached once loaded.

If your using and ad blocker you'll always have the issue now and then it seems thanks to the troublesome easylist

when I allowed yahooapis.com today I noticed that the site is reloading
"until the cows come home".

Today yahooapis.com is working again as usual for me, the issue I had yesterday was maybe a temporary glitch only.

That list is now refreshed automatically and every time that happens, the scripts mentioned in my previous post are made active again overriding any specific settings you may have made. It seems you can no longer permanently allow things that are on easylist (perhaps the list is now replaced rather than updated?)

Unless you feel inclined to keep disabling those scripts in your ad blocker, the only solution if you want full functionality appears to be to turn your ad blocker off once you have logged in to VEF.

I now do this when moderating, but leave it on if just browsing VEF.
