I'm five foot, five inches, 115 pounds... I've been landing fade drives 245 yards for the past month. Drawing them 255 yards. Two shots onto a 563 par five (drive ended up 300, downhill plus wind).

Anybody want to do the math in this? My anesthesiologist uncle says it's not possible, physically & by laws of physics. All I have in my head at the teebox is J.B. Holmes & Bubba Watson... Let 'er rip!

I do have a twenty (+/-2) handicap, because my short game is crap. But my long game, for a small dude, has got to be enviable, no? Mini, crappy Quiros.

I play Oakland University Sharf course, des. Rick Smith, Michigan, U.S.A.

hi all

well, played the same course again yesterday, we teed off at 8.30 which made all the difference....millionaires golf!!!
no one in front and the group behind always a hole away....beautiful!

Tee'ing off was great, the srixon trispeed hanging around until the 17th, mid/short irons were good...but...oh god, short game still missing and my putting went from bad to worse!!! only exception a 12 ft birdie which was lovely!

the greens were like concrete! need some rain down south in the uk please!

hope everyone plays well this weekend and has a great time.

i'm off to chase a red leather ball around.

Well, had my round there today
Not good, found the bunker on the 1st, 2 shots too get out. 2nd hole I lost my ball

. Didn't bother scoring after that, I was also playing with a mate and his round was worse than mine was going. After the 9thm he'd had enough and want too leave

............so we went straight too the 19th

I'm playing this morning. One of my fav courses.

"La Roqueta Golf" is a little club near Manresa. Only 9 holes, but very nice and difficult. The stream and the water channel (damn... the "canal") plays much in much holes.

I take some photo this morning in play...

The game was not easy, because of wind (see the flag in 6th pic)

To be able to catch street from tees, decided to punish my drive and start the holes with 3w. The result was not bad and until i could finish the course, in the 9th hole, with a good start drive shoot (the only one), and a 5 scored in this par 5 hole (last putt in pic 6)

I've been hitting a few balls in the front yard with my pitching wedge but I haven't had a chance to get out to the course. The thing about golf is that no matter how crappy you play, if you get one perfect shot you'll come back out the next time eager to play just as crappy as you did the week before.
