No option to uncheck automatic download option
Great series of posts about this FF fiasco. I haven't been getting this automatically checked filemanage option that allows me to uncheck it. Drag. When I chose to download for free it counts down for several seconds before the screen goes black with a white clockwise indicator. This never ends, well past the original 60 seconds. Someone's screwing around with FF. This has been going on for a while now. That's too bad.

File Factory is excessively stupid for adding this unncessary and confounding piece into their service. Since it doesn't respond the same way across all user configurations it only adds to our confusion and frustration. My attitude toward FF is rather negative at the moment. Why subsribe to support this idiotic bunch when their proprietary system doesn't work?

File Factory's a joke. Rapidshare is way better since it doesn't require all this mysterious and confusing bee ess! Our choices have been severely limited lately. What the dingdongs at FF have done is ensure ALOT of users will dislike them and will not consider paying for their crappy service.

Currently at 36% and 12 mins to go so not too bad for a free host, hovering around 88kb/sec. I download off FF almost every day and just get the odd glitch but all sites have occasional issues but as long as downloads are freely available we have no problem with them |

And what's all this about 'our choices'? How many vids or other files have you uploaded in your 14 posts? The choice is largely that of the kind souls who provide you with free naughties.....

I did try the last link (SE238.avi) as a visitor and was able to download the movie at 140-150 KB/sec

The best way around these quirks with some of the file hosts is to use JDownloader. You don't see these options at all... in fact, (lately) File Factory doesn't even require a Captcha check. I just dump in the link and about a minute later it automatically starts... and the file comes in faster than most of the hosters.
