Well he is still on the books of Liverpool and maybe this will be his chance to shine again - mind you it is one of two games we have against Chelsea so if we lost this one I wouldn't be that concerned, its the league that worries me and whether we can hang on to our stunning opening to a season.

Nope Greens
Liverpool can win them all ~ why not go for it ? After tonight ~ Quote:
Man Cty seem to be getting Rudderless, less control than usual, De Bruyne missing might be a part, Sterling's future wage demands might be a part David De S looks close to fatigue... all core for Pep. CHELSEA ? Their owner refused Swiss citizenship because of "suspected criminal links" Got an Israeli passport after being deferred by UK ~ so can only visit the UK nowadays. Stopped Chelsea's new ground expansion BUT probably got his best Manager/Coach... EVER How Cruel BOT Thems Liverpools main opposition ~ imo Forget Spurs, how can they be coached if the Coach is joking about being a 'hod-carrier' at the Stadium.... tells a lot about the background. This season it is for Liverpool to lose... best chance EVER ~ imo ~ given the opposition's problems Why not GO-For-FOUR ............. Personally, I'd think Chelsea are pretty good to spoil Klopp's adventures ~ cos I think both he and a good part of the Kop can't risk HOPE Yet.... |

We all have a very long season ahead...and to be fair Liverpool can play well, and they will be second at the end of the season make no mistake!
We have had a blip, like Liverpool tonight, but it is how you re-act after that which counts. My bet to get into the so called top 5 will be Wolves, they really played well last season and are finding their feet now, they could do it! My prediction for the top 3, City, Liverpool, Chelsea. The rest to close to call. |

Fortunately for Liverpool Sturridge is not the main man, with the gifts presented to him by Chelsea this evening should have been all over at half time.

Grady Diangana scored twice....Academy grad on his debut
Poor old Macclesfield. I think Chelsea just edged Liverpool in their starting X1...... both were pretty strong for this Cup ~ imo ~ but Chelsea had the momentum throughout. Late subs for Liverpool of Mo and Bobby couldn't match Sarri's clever, earlier sub with Eden. Out-tacted Jorgen, and one less chance of Silverware.... the easiest. Effing MingoMaggots... 'scuse me language... but whilst throwing away so many points last season, he's still dribbling in his area. The lobotomy didn't work did it ? |

Well again Chelsea have proved to be a thorn in our side but to be honest I'm not that disappointed, the CCup is good but it ain't the FA Cup or Champions League where you field your strongest sides and of course the title challenge-that is our priority this season. It would be nice to win at least ONE major trophy for once. Chelsea away on Saturday, now that will be a different side but Hazard is still going to be dangerous, but we'll hopefully have Salah firing on all cylinders.

You'd swear Klopp had never won any titles the way the media goes on about them needing to win a trophy Mourinho won 2 trophies - wont save him from the sack if they dont start looking like EPL title contenders very soon. Dalglish before he got sacked made 2 Cup finals for 1 trophy Only 1 trophy really means everything because 38 games home & away isnt a fluke like some Cup runs can be.Winning Cups buys you time if your lucky |
