Another green Christmas on the cards, but then only a fool would bet on a White Christmas in London. Somebody somewhere will see the white stuff.

Gatwick Airport getting help from the Army to guard against another drone flight which has disrupted flights coming in and going out. It is believed to be deliberate as an act of commercial sabotage.

Person who threw a bottle of water at Dele Alli last night at the EFL Cup Qtr Final has been identified. He should be banned.

To be serious for a change. I had quite a shock whilst out shopping at WH Smith on Wednesday. A woman in front of me in the queue was talking to the girl behind the counter. She was quite chatty and I was just waiting patiently when she suddenly turned round and said apologised for talking so much but she lived alone and going shopping was the only time she could talk to someone! I couldn't believe it, how can someone so nice be alone at Christmas time.

I just hope that someone knows of her and can maybe pop in and talk to her OR that she is invited out by someone to a Christmas party or lunch. In the 21st century I can't bear the thought that she or anyone else would be alone with no-one to talk to and nothing to look forward to especially this time of year. Surely there is some good samaritan out there that can help her or anyone else in that state.

I read that the newly convicted Labour MP perjurer is a solicitor - only until the next Law Society disciplinary tribunal I would imagine. She also belongs to something called "Christians on the Left" (formerly the Christian Socialist Movement) and argues that her criminal conviction is just one more example in a tradition of legal persecution of the faithful. She will not resign as an MP because she is a victim of injustice.

I don't go to Church as a rule. The reason is that I choose not to repent on Sunday for things I did all last week and intend to start doing again next Monday. I choose not to be a deliberate hypocrite. This woman appears to be a true sociopath, oblivious to all concepts of shame or decency.

The irony is that she could have merely fessed up to speeding and probably she would have received 3 points and a £100 fine, or maybe even just a speed awareness course.
