A lot of it is made up but some are real.

Yeah it was news to me I'd never heard of that before. If you ever get the chance watch Line of Duty his other series 1-4 they are edge-of-the-seat thrilling.

I concur. The only thing it doesn't need is twenty two episodes per season. Too much padding. I'd much rather it told a concise story in ten - twelve.
Anyhoo, after all that insanity, lets hope we finally get to see The Dark Knight rising.

After a year of BBC and ITV channels carrying endless, often very boring sport, a huge number of cookery shows and of course numerous repeats, at last we have some very good drama. So far, top of my list is Killing Eve. Second would be Bodyguard, third is Vanity Fair and forth is Strangers. All highly recommended and probably available online.

Okay, there was The Bridge and Poldark earlier this year, but not much else aside from Timeless and Gotham on E4. So this makes a real change and there is some decent stuff in the pipeline on the prime channels with Dr Who not far off.

I heartily recommend Outlander to anyone who hasn't seen it. I was expecting a boring love story spanning time, but it's actually a really good tale. Watching Claire struggling to contain her Twentieth Century outrage at the filth and injustice of the Eighteenth doesn't get old.

I don't know if you've watched all the available series yet? The first was very gritty, the second was heavily costume and I'm sorry to say I found this a bit dull midway as they'd clearly been told to tone down the content. Series 3 was rather up and down and I wish there was just a little more attention to the fact that Claire is from the 20th Century and when she does things like showing Jamie colour pictures from the future and talking about a mission to the Moon, he just seems to accept it. Season four will be out in a couple of months and the show has been so succesful, they are already working on scripts for season 6. I've not read any of the books, but the historical detail is very good. I'd say that Claire's daughter will take over the lead role and Frank, or his relatives will still play a part in the ongoing story. Very high quality TV. Right up with Man in the High Castle and Game of Thrones!

Snowfall on FX...Absolutely riveting television.Nothing sugar coated about the 80's drug scene and the affect it had on communities and families.

I can second this one, amazing show.

I am also loving the second season of The Sinner. I found the first season a bit underwhelming, but this second season with a completely different storyline I find very compelling. Great cast too, Carrie Coon, Tracy Letts, and Bill Pullman is back as the troubled detective from the first season.

Never believe anything you read in the Daily Fascist. They've already published blatant lies about Keeley Hawes and an alleged diet routine in connection with this series. She is married to Matthew McFadyen (and has been since 2004).
