I just posted in the 'lesser known & bit part actress' thread in Classic Celebrities.
(Alfre Woodard). The post number should be #1271, the first on page 128 of that thread.
The thread list indicates that I posted but the thread itself is still showing only 1270 posts on 127 pages. When I tried to post again I got a 'duplicate post' message.
This happened instantly, so I don't think it's down to a moderator but I may be wrong.

A post more than likely was removed, therefore your post would have a number count that is different than when you originally made your post.

Apologies for not making myself clear in my previous post; what I meant to say was that my post has not appeared in the thread.
The thread still shows the previous post (Judy Huxtable by Beutelwolf) as the most recent one.

Curiously just a moment ago when I clicked the 'reply' button to try to post again, I could then see my post as the most recent one.
So my post is showing as the most recent one when I have an active reply window open, but it is not showing when I just view the thread normally.

I am assuming this is not just a problem with my PC. I cleaned all my history etc. and logged on again but that has not cleared it up.

I just realized that myself. I believe it is a system glitch. The thread is showing a page afterwards but it just takes me back to page 127 instead of going on to page 128. I need to let an administrator look into this.
