Yes, it has to be, the name of the shop is correct.
It is really interesting, what really happened to that shop? When did they sell it, if ever, and "how adult book store" did it became? The red light district of Copenhagen (istedgade) is situated 500+ meters from this area. The shop is situated pretty close to the town hall and this area is very beautiful. And for this reason a tourist-attraction.

Over at the model-thread featuring Gerd I discovered something interesting.

There is a short clip there from a movie called SwedenLove.
SwedenLove is obviously an english version of Inge og Sten's Kärlighetens ABC movies (they made several).

Ok, In a danish version of one of those movies Jens Theander is supposed to participate. So there does exist film-clips of the man.
SwedenLove probably is an english version and they might have put together stuff from various movies.

In a book called Something Sensational by Gyles Brandreth there exist a description of Jens Theander.


Now take a look at the film-clip and notice the following. The man is fairly big, bearded and approx. 27 years.


Now compare the picture of his father and Jens Theander.


Even though the cameraman is closing his eyes due to the filming, there is a certain similarity between their eyes. And look at the mouth, their identical.

I think we have spotted mr Jens Theander here.

Ok, you might think; Sweden Love, Inge and Sten (swedish), but Theanders are danish? Well, as I said, Jens Theander is participating in one of the movie, a danish version. In addition, in the clip (from the link above) you can see a sign with the word Sex69. That is the name of the Danish expo that was held in Copenhagen in 1969, which Theander were amongst the Organizers. I am confident the clip from the shooting is shot in Denmark.

Another thing, notice Jens Theander is described as a charming teddy bear, difficult to resist. That is quite the opposite of Peter Theander who is described as humorless, dull and boring

I've thought of that. But a comparison between "what about" and "Sweden is Love" tells me it is not the same guy. The nose is completely different.


When that's said, I might be wrong and you correct too. I am in the process of getting hold on some old media-articles and I;
1) hope I DO get them,
2) they contains pictures of the people (ie, Rodox people). That way we we can nail their looks once for all.

I do however doubt Jens is in the What about Technical quality catalogue. It was made long after they had withdrawn from the public eye.

Ok, Fannatic pointed out something for me, in the book Porn Gold (p. 59) it is verified that it IS in fact Jens Theander in the lower picture of "What about the Technical Quality". The book describes this picture and says it is Jens Theander.

Been a while since I read the book, so I had completely forgotten...

This also verifies what I claimes in the post just above here. it IS Jens Theander we see in the Sweden is Love movie. Myth Confirmed!!

It's the fact that he appears in the danish "Inge and Sten" (He's credited in a book listing danish movie as cast) and the similarity between their mouths that gave me hope he'd been nailed down.
Resarching people so shy for the public is frustrating (and challenging ), so I've wanted to nail them down to get a face on them.

No doubt Inge and Sten's names were used in pornographic movies, but the real Inge and Sten (Hegeler) were a danish psychologist couple who ran a very popular sex problem page in the danish tabloid "Ekstra Bladet" during the 60's and 70's.
"Kærlighedens ABZ" was also the name of the couple's sex encyclopedia published first in 1961 and illustrated by artist Eiler Krag.
Besides danish the book also exists in a Swedish, Norvegian, American, English and Dutch edition

My bad, sorry. Yes, Inge and Sten aren't Swedish, they are danish.
It is however the same couple who are in these movies, they made two or three swedish ones and one Danish (and also, at least kind off) the Swedish Love which has been discussed here.

Really cool to see those scans btw, my Norwegian parents had this book in their drawer, it might actually be the very first 'porn' I discovered. They also released a book with black and white pictures of different positions, which they also had. I found that one more exiting... :-p
