Dont you start. Though probably when He realised what a mess He'd made further north, I suppose

I remember the winter night the old one fell down.
As for the new one, seeing it from the M1 as I drive north always tells me I'm nearly 'home'.

I remember going to stay with my brother when he was living in Apperly Bridge, and the rush of pleasure I got from contemplating the fact that the the cdars the passed me on the road as I took my dog for a walk were probably full of people who all spoke in a Yorkshire accent - West Yorkshire at that.

Some of my best holidays - actually, the best - have been in Robin Hood's Bay. I probably won't ever go back there now.

Apperley Bridge has a few claims to fame. The nearby village of Esholt used to be the one used in Emmerdale Farm, as it was called, before the revamp. Patrick Bronte, father of the famous writers, used to walk the 12 miles from Thornton at the other side of Bradford, to Apperley Bridge several times a week whilst courting. It is also the home of Woodhouse Grove School, the place your parents tried to get you in if you didn't pass the enterance exam to Bradford Grammer School.

As for RH's Bay, I dont think it has changed that much. Still a fabulous place to visit.
