Default Do not annoy the people of Glasgow.

Fleetwood77, I hope you aren't offended by my steriotyping but I am weak and cannot resist the temptation to repeat this story. I beg your forgiveness.

Glasgow Celtic once came to my home town for a ''friendly'' football match and my father saw the police set a dog on one of their fans who would not behave: I have no idea whether the man was wrecking the joint or whether the police were in miners' strike overkill mode, but all that happened was that the Celtic supporter threw the dog back at the coppers and went on his way. I can't think of a worse place in the UK to mount an unprovoked terrorist attack on the ordinary folk: the citizens of Glasgow are NOT to be messed with.

My choice of most annoying thing is moronic driving in all its many forms. A worrying percentage of drivers don't even have insurance, usually because they are banned or their claims history indicates that they are idiots. Assuming that they even have driving licenses, then in many cases one can only assume that they won them in a packet of Kelloggs Cornflakes.

Queue-jumpers (especially the stuck-up bitch who casually walked in front of me and others at the tube station last Friday night as we politely waited several minutes for our train)

People who dump their free newspapers everywhere on the Underground...but can't be bothered to take said paper to work/home and throw it in the bin (forgotten the Kings Cross fire, have we?).

People who wear sunglasses on underground trains/platforms (take my word for it - you don't look cool, you look bloody stupid)

Default Paris Hilton

With apologies to Jack Nicholson's Joker: I have found a name for my pain, and it is Paris.

So lax are UK border controls that ex-convicts are welcome, and surprise surprise we now have Paris Hilton, not only on our soil but recruiting her British best friend on TV.

Prison Governor: Paris, dear, you don't look well. Is anything wrong?

Paris: Prison's really nasty and I don't like it!

Prisoner Governor: What a shame. You'd better go home then.

Paris is an embarrassment to America and an irritation to everyone in Britain with an IQ above 35 (not nearly enough of us, I fear).

Or did they get it from us? An example of someone who uses it a lot of the time is Catherine Freeman, and Greenman's aversion to it might be reflected in the fact that the BBC didn't keep her contract going very long. "How do you think this race will go, Cathy?" " I think she'll run really well?" "What, are you asking me, or f*%$!+g telling me?" Good runner though
I think this intonation thing came from the influx of Aussie soaps in the 1980's, along with giving kids the names of Kylie & Charlene etc etc.

l blog the crap out of that shower of waters. My neighbour up stairs has been waiting well over 22months for them to fix the gutters and stop the water running down her walls. Plus my landing window has spun round and jammed shut casing the rain to wet the stairs making it very slippy and this has been going on for well over 3 years.

There excuse is always the same, I'm sorry we don't have a record of this repair. They spent £50m on there new offices and the town centre yet sweet f.a was spent on the west end.

Politics and religion drive me nuts so I better shut up or I'll be here all night bad mouthing that lot.

Amen.
Sanctimonious hypochristians really annoy me. Sorry if I've offended anyone, but then, what are you doing on this forum? (This rant is not directed at dhream, by the way)
I live in the bible belt of Australia. The population of this town is around 5,000. When I was at school these people were ostricised outcasts. Now they have thronged together, and assumed control.
This town has 3 pubs and 10 churches. The one closest to me is called "Christian City Church". I'm about two Jim Beams and one "who needs a hug" away from defacing their signs to read "Christian Clitty Church"

Excuse me while i deftly swerve away from politics and religion ( Both more trouble than they`re worth) and onto something that annoys yet which we can do something about (As i`m figuring nobody is going to march down the street in revolutionary protest ?, or at least they didn't when i tried to stage a coup last Wednesday afternoon).

My latest beef being those cretins who cough with their mouths WIDE open , spreading god knows what god knows where !.They`re total bastards sure , yet they deserve our help .

So i say crack them in the jaw with a two by four , as a wired shut gob will prevent more flying flob (Well you think of another pointless rhyme then)

Or better still just go up and cough DIRECTLY in their face , plus if they`re dressed smart also apply a firm knee to the groin (Their's not yours although not if their groin is firm - shudder) then check their wallet for fair compensation

People in power, whether managers, supervisors all the way up to those twats in Government that clearly don't deserve to be there because they are f*cking retards who couldn't hold an orgy in a brothel.

And do you know what's even more annoying? the fact that everyone knows it except for the arseholes themselves. And we can do bugger all about it and they know that.

There are a lot of insanitary habits on the increase just now. Coughing and sneezing without guarding your mouth or using a tissue/handkerchief (anyone remember them?) is a filthy, disgusting trick. So is pissing in corners, but the lack of public toilets makes this understandable, though still disgusting. Then there is the vogue for spitting in the street (vile) and sticking used chewing gum all over the place. The common denominator is the mental attitude that the whole place belongs to these people and they needn't think about anyone but themselves. They are pricks.

Good target selection, Greenskull, thank you.

So It`s best to send all that human garbage to Singapore to learn basics of good manners, as spitting and chewing gum publicly is definitely "NO" there, they should learn basics quickly.
