Any well kept real ale but mostly because landlords dont keep their real ale right, Gunness or in summer Stella

Texas' best beer Shiner Bock (Happy 100 year Anniversary to Shiner this year)! Also partial in this region (Texas)to Blanco, Tx's Real Ale Brewing Company's Roggen Dunkel and Real Cask Ale (had a pint Friday night from a cask tapped right in front of me - smooth is the word). Finally Austin's Live Oak Brewing Company's Big Bark Amber Lager.

If no real ales are on the pumps I'll take Carling or Stella; but, if it's available, then I'd sooner have a few pints of Kentish Ale's Spitfire, Old Speckled Hen, Theakston's Old Peculier or some other proper ale.

Ordinarily I hate beer. I drink cider if available and lager if nothing else available. The one exception is when I have a hot beef sandwich at the races: a pint of bitter suddenly makes sense to my taste buds when I am eating a hot beef sandwich. Tetleys is good.

My favorites for spring & summer season are regular Warsteiner, gueuze-lambick and Desperados..

I'm also rather fond of Zywiec, from Poland.
