Found a load of old negatives in my Dads dark room in the loft. Gradually scanning and converting them

Apart from the photo in the pub garden, these were taken in our old front room late 40s / early 50s.

Definitely one of my favourites from the collection of negatives. Considering they've been in the loft for 60 - 70 years, it's surprising they were in any state to scan!

Found this model list amongst the negatives, diaries, etc. Unfortunately, even when I discovered prints that had been made from the negatives, there was no record on the back of names or dates. Some of the names are mentioned in the diaries, but no way of linking them to the models. There are 30+ model sets to tweak before uploading (and more girlfriends!).

In the meantime, here are some more of the girlfriend taken in the front room. Must've had some fun, as she's wearing my Dad's pyjamas!

Apparently my Dad took his camera with him wherever he went, just in case somebody caught his eye.

The blonde girl in this collection of negatives made me want to invent a Time Machine. Stunning IMHO. The sequence shows how my Dad back in the late 40s early 50s would often chat up the girls from the laundry that was behind the back wall of my Dad's garden. Not sure what his patter was, but the negatives I've converted so far seem to suggest he was quite successful in getting willing subjects for his camera. The photos are the initial chatting up, out to the pub for a beer, and then back to the front room for some glamour shots. As I've not found any more negatives of this encounter, I'm assuming he put his camera down at some point in the evening

As my previous post didn't deliver on nudity, posting this model my Dad photographed as well. Not sure if she is actually Scottish, but she'd likely warm your cockles as well as a wee dram.

These photos are from a holiday in Torquay in Devon, UK in 1951. My Dad's girlfriend is called Margaret. I can't find the 1951 diary at the moment, so that's all the information I have. Very pretty and looks great fun.

This amateur model was photographed by my Dad in the late 50s/early 60s. Anyone know why models seemed invariably to be shaved during this period? If it's to do with the UK's obscenity laws at the time, you'd think being shaved was more graphic.
