City have offered Arsenal £50 mill for Sanchez. If those in charge have any sense they will take the money and let him go. If he is still a Gooner on Friday, he walks for free next summer.

..and, he can sign for a non-English club from January, keep his wages and may or not play till May.
Should push Arsene's PMT overboard. |

BONG ! - BONG ! - BONG !
For non-UK Sky viewers (includes me )...the Big Ben BONGS add drama...well SKY drama ...to the closing moments of the Transfer Window. They have now stopped the 'outside-the-club/training-ground' live transmissions, because...like Trump, they liked the crowds..... but the crowds started shoving sex toys in the reporter's faces...so that's gone ! Big Ben is silent for overhaul...so that's gone So we have Auntie Beeb.... Quote:

Not sure what our owners are doing but Sakho is expected to sign for Rennes for 9 mill, which leaves our strike force as Sick note, Chico, Ayew & Martinez. I am hoping we sign someone before DD, rather than some unemployed has been. Its rumoured Fonte is off to Palace, 4 mill, which will drop the first team squad to 20.
Palace have gazumped Rennes with a £10 mill bid for Sakho. From mumblings on fan sites and words with friends and family with the sale of Sakho, we might have made a profit in this transfer window, just a question of funds on the loan deals, if Fonte goes then we have made a profit. So much for meaningless words of funds available and challenging for Europe, as it stands we will be lucky to stay up. Tony Gail advises the clubs net spend over the last 2 years is £4 Million. Bilic comes under more pressure on a daily basis, but as he is the only one facing the camera, perhaps its time for one of the three wise monkeys to step up and explain wtf is going on. ...and they have responded...
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: Liverpool agree £40m deal for Arsenal midfielder Liverpool have agreed a £40m deal to sign Arsenal and England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 24-year-old, who rejected a move to Chelsea on Tuesday after a fee had been agreed, will join Liverpool on a five-year contract worth £120,00 a week. Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is in the final year of his Arsenal contract, rejected a new deal worth up to £180,000 a week to stay at the Emirates. He has started each of Arsenal's four games so far this season. The midfielder is expected to have a medical on Thursday before flying to Malta with England. Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 198 appearances for Arsenal since joining them from Southampton in August 2011, scoring 20 goals. The fee would have been Liverpool's club record deal, but the Reds have agreed to sign RB Leipzig's Naby Keita next summer for £48m. Details: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41098529

Hmm now that is a surprise, I did hear a rumour he wanted to go to Liverpool but I didn't think Venger would part with him so easily. I seem to recall we had eyes on Theo Walcott at one time. I hope for this season at least we keep Coutinho because I think we could be a genuine threat to the title this year -but I also see that we could have out Origi on loan which might be a mistake. I also think we need a new goalkeeper, Lorius Karius is too much of a liability. Navy Keita will be joining us next summer so I hope he is worth it.

If Oxlade-Chamberlaine actually signs for Liverpool, the deal is completed I mean..... and it's £40 mill..... that is a triumph ~ imo NOT that his value is £40m, but that his ability and strength helps complete Klopp's jigsaw. A perfect insertion. I can see a clarity at Liverpool now, if they get him. Crossed Fingers |

Wengers had enough - all light weights must go
West Brom have completed a double swoop to sign Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs for about £7m http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41095184 I find the Coutinho is he isnt he interesting from one point of view Bought for 8.5mil - not for sale at any price Why do players sign long term deals if their true aim isnt the club they are at? |

Naughty boy Sakho trying to arrange his own transfer with his trip to Rennes yesterday. Board are saying he is not for sale. Watch this space.
I am wondering why we bothered moving to the OS given some of our on the cheap transfer deals. Just when things could not get any worse, it appears we are negotiating a loan deal with the Wenger boys for Jack "anyone got a fag" Wilshere, as if we do not already have enough sick notes of our own, at least Everton have decided not to deal with us, Mirallas is probably thanking his guardian angel this very minute. I dread to think who we will have signed by close of business. Last edited by victor meldrew; August 31st, 2017 at 11:58 AM.. |
