God that was so frustrating. we threw the kitchen sink at Southampton and still cannot get at them. I think Forster's antics with Milner before he took the penalty was an example of terrible gamesmanship and should not be allowed, especially as close as he got. A point is a point anyway so at least we are still a fair way from the others but a chance for three points scuppered but it isn't the end of the world just yet. Liverpool have got to win their last matches to cement third place and we cannot throw it away again.

Reds 0 0.
So what? Anfield no more scared to anyone. Foreign coach? So what? ????..... Anfield is a good friendly pitch now. Let me remind how scared we were in 1977 with St Etienne. coming to Liverpool home. Globalisation? yes... |

Got to hand it to Rafael Benitez. He lead Liverpool, lead Real Madrid, lead Chelsea and now leads Newcastle to glory. Well done Rafa, let's hope Mike Ashley pulls his finger oot and starts giving him some money to get new players. I used to relish the Newcastle v Liverpool games, some of them were epic, and as long as we have some new decent players as well they could be so again.

Ahhh!!!! Victor 1963, those were the days!!!!
Burnley and Blackburn in the first division, Accrington Stanley in division 4 too!!! (you did win the return at Ewood Park the next day but it was 9-5 on agg I recall) imagine Jose having to play two days running over Christmas!!!! What about the Good Friday, Easter Saturday AND Easter Monday schedule???? That was the season of the big freeze wasn't it??? Oh and Spurs never lost a home game that season!!!! Now Burnley are in the first division, Blackburn in the third and Accrington in the fourth!!! Oh and Spurs are unbeaten at home!!!! Hopefully Jose has said he ain't bovvered about the league anymore, so they won't bovver next Sunday!!! They f****d up me Birfday too, by the way, the last ever game at WHL should have been on my 63rd birthday. But they deferred it a day!!!! |

The Boxing day(1963/64) weather for Blackburn was pretty bad. I seem to remember we played your lot one Xmas, Christmas Eve & Boxing day, we lost 0-5 0n agg, 59 or 60. Shame about your birthday, but a money game for Sky & PL. Easter footie was always enjoyable, sometimes get home games on the Fri & Sat, Brian Dear grabbed his five in twenty against the baggies Good Friday 65. Sadly those days are long gone, Wenger would never have coped, just four days of him whinging. |

Wenger finally beats a Mourinho managed team
in a competitive match
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39760508 Only took him 13 years and 16 attempts In private hes doing cartwheels i suspect given it ended Man Us 25 game unbeaten run Even with 8 changes it still wasnt a Man U B team like we saw so often on LVGs watch |
