I see the last name on that list is Sissyssoko???
As with Tevezgate, West Ham were sussed when Liverpool bought Mascarponi. You don't think Spurs grassed West Ham and Newcastle up when 'they' bought him??? I'm quite hoping when we arrive next Friday the gates will be locked and a big HMRC sign will be hanging there and a notification of the three points have been handed to us. Tee-hee, revenge for Lasagnagate!!!!! |

As with Tevezgate, West Ham were sussed when Liverpool bought Mascarponi. QUOTE] Congratulations to Kia Joorabchian , Egghead and Duxbury for truly fookin things up. Had it not been for London getting the Olympics everything would be fine and we would still be at Upton Park. As for next Friday, gates open or closed, the only way we win is if you fail to turn up. On current form I doubt we could beat Boro or Sunderland. 18th is a realistic possibility for us. |

Man City - Bravo gone everything improves 50% - worse GK since Taibi (Guardiola can really pick them) Stones will take years to get anywhere near the level kompany was at in his prime. An ageing injury prone squad at best Liverpool - more injury prone players so little continuity - shows in their defensive lapses at corners which reminds me of Mario Balotelli when he first arrived "I dont defend at corners" I dont think he was alone. Arsenal - their French captain gets injured and they turn into the headless chicken bunch If BFS can spot their defensive weakness one wonders why their coaching staff cant. |

what happens if united finish fifth but win the Europa to get a champions league place. Does the fourth place team drop down to the Europa?

That rule came in to counter the situation in 2005, when Liverpool won the CL but didn't qualify by right to defend their trophy. It was an even bigger hoo-har because the 4th placed team was neighbours Everton. Eventually a bodge-job was done to add Liverpool to the 05-06 CL as England's 5th entry through a back passage. Now that the EL winners get automatic qualification to the following season's CL, they'll get a 5th spot for England if they finish outside the top 4 of the PL. Note that this waiver is removed in the very unlikely scenario of both the CL & EL winners come from the same country and neither qualify for the next CL by finishing in the top 4. For example, this could have happened this season if, as well as Man U winning the EL, Leicester had gone on to win the CL. Then, Man U would have dropped into the 2017-18 EL. .

another scenario: united finish fourth and win the Europa. I'm guessing the runners up in the Europa league would get the champions league place. Though I'm also guessing the fa and eufa might conspire if it meant city or arsenal back in.
