A reply to Meini Hirion about BFS situation which he enquired about on the football comp thread.
Not sure where the owners are with this but much speculation on the WHU fan sites and opinion seems split between he stays and goes. Firstly him not being offered a new contract appears to have had an effect on our on the field performances as players will be reluctant to follow a leader who might not be here next season. BFS managed to get us back in the PL, via the play offs, but I like many supporters believed we had the squad for auto promotion, some of the performances were dire and in the end we just scraped in the play offs. First season back we finished a credible 10th after a really poor start, but some of the football was not exactly entertaining. Last season should have seen an improvement and although finishing 13th, most of the football was horrendous with going into the opposition half seemingly to be some sort of crime, Air Traffic Control however were more than pleased. The only performances of note were the three games against Spurs, but for those I think the fat one would have been gone. We started brightly this year but have since fallen away and for the reasons previously mentioned. The owners want to be in the Prem when we move into the blot on the landscape and must be weighing up options, perhaps with a view to a new man and entertaining football. No new suspects have yet been mentioned. On the other hand fat boy has kept us up and I believe if we don't go down he will get a two year deal. The goal is to be in the Prem when we move, I believe BFS can deliver that, but will win no friends with his dinosaur tactics. |

Chelsea v PSG, but for mega rich owners would either team be in the Champions League.
As for the players, reminded me of primary school play ground antics. |

At the start of this season Joe M was upbeat, near chirpy, Chelsea looked like runaway league winners. Then came Christmas. Along came mean old grumpy whinging Jose, trying to encourage a seige mentality amongst his squed.
The problem is, when Lord wrigley did it at OT he turned his team into 'never say die' winners (okay we'll ignore european matches for the most part) but theyt won a prodigious number of games on determination. Chelski on the other hand look like they've forgotten how to win, how to enjoy their football and imagine they have a divine right to be successful, by getting so very 'professional' And thanks to PSG, it hasn't worked. Nice Jose I like and have a lot of time for; the bloke who sets his teams up like last night? Ferggeddit. |

Hammers
Thanks Vic...
Sullivan & Gold have a track record of duplicity especially with regard to employed managers. Apologies to other readers, but as a past provider to their footie wealth, I have maintained an interest in their bloomin gall as they plough on, and met an open mind in Victor Meldrew. Once again, skip this if you have a life When Trevor Francis was their Manager...and got them to a League Cup Final, at Cardiff {Wembley Closed} ..Gold, surprisingly, as he was the perrenial Mr Good Guy, said a month before that Final against Liverpool, that even if Francis won it, there was NO certainty that he would remain as Manager without promotion....WOW...what a pre-match boost. Later it transpired that The Dame Karren had a dinner with Steve Bruce and an ex-employer....I think - Donaldson...where she begged him not to go to Palace, as an opportunity may arise at Blues...{bigger wages etc} Next tactic was to STARVE Francis of transfer money. Saying the club had too many debts. {to Sullivan & Golds own companies} Previous manager...Barry Fry.... actually heard he was sacked from the Tea Lady---TRUE..in his book....Sullivan, Gold and Brady disappeared rather than face him. Bruce...was starved of transfer funds because of club debt---{to Sullivan and Gold companies}....then they blamed Yeung, a new shareholder they wouldn't allow on the Board, as blocking his new contract, so he went to Wigan....Alex McLeish stepped up and denied he'd been "tapped-up" when Scotland Manager......like Fry, Francis, Bruce etc.... A Fly, in the Web of Sullivan and Gold duplicity and deceit. Manager's names are leaked, and Sullivan's son is a useful source on Twatts these days.... "exploited" springs to mind.... My reason for interupting the Footie Prediction thread was to ask VM about the Moyes rumours. S & G have done this before...to press down a new contract and to sell Season Tickets. If a manager has some anti from fans......leak a new name. Why not?...and why not use your schoolboy son this time ? Mind you, if the Hammers get Moyes, United can get rid of Felliani Win-Win Cheers Vic Jeez but I really STILL dislike Sullivan, Gold and Brady. |

PSG fans refuse to allow a bloke dressed in John Terry's Chelsea kit onto a train heading to Berlin for the Champions League final.

He's the ultimate enigma If he became good Mourinho would he be the trophy winner that he is I doubt it He got into Barcelonas mind in Spain even with Real Madrid losing head to head they won La Liga Mind games can cause havoc beyond the big games Ferguson employed similar sly off field tactics to good effect One turned Benitez at Liverpool into a raving stats idiot result - Liverpool after a great1st half lost the EPL by some way finishing 2nd I think many under estimate the intent of Mourinhos tactics off the field You dont stop the Barcelona juggeraut in a semi by accident with perennial under achiever Inter Milan. You dont have a never lost to Wenger that dates back to the invincibles Hes good/bad because its a proven method of destabilising your rivals Last edited by buttsie; March 14th, 2015 at 10:09 AM.. Couple of Chelski's jokes
This comment made me chuckle:
PSG - kicking racism out of football. Another one that made me smile...
