Drat that it's so sunny and warm ~ this 2nd day of November.
The dodgie is restless.....

I was quite looking foward to watching both Prem matches
- {Mancs derby & villa/spurs}
and only moving to top up my glass.
House empty except for dodge & cats. But the weather and the dodge are making me feel guilty already.

A no worry no anxiety no bother afternoon. Just being able to relax and study certain players and styles. Going up the spout.

Bloomin weather.

Travel to ligue 1 leader Marseille tonight,Lens is at 10/1 bookmakers.
We are gonna devastate those southern clowns,with a good 0 1 90'.
Seriously, a draw would be a miracle...

Paris ' back with 1 2 Lorient (2nd now) Monaco disappointed once more (1 1 home) ,a good match and draw Lille st etienne 1 1,but this year we have no surprises as Southampton!! saints?

Cheers Vic......

It reached us about the time Christian Benteke got a Red v Spurs.
The dodge and I missed 75-80 minutes of the Manc derby in the end.
I kept hearing them refer to 10 men, but I couldn't figure out which side had 10, I presumed it was City, the way Utd were playing.
Silly moi.

I saw all of the villa v Spurs match.
This Spurs team is the worst I have ever seen, are they always like this?
Truly without any desire or drive.
Benteke ~ whom I rate highly for a bluenose ~ was unplayable.
He totally destroyed Kaboul {?} received a red card for pushing Spurs' Masons head out of his face.
Silly. But Mason didn't even get a yellow for putting his head into Benteke's face ~ wasn't a headbutt, more a Pardew type thing.
Spurs won. Amazing.

On my "Keane-watch", I think he had about 3 bottles of water and two sandwiches. Didn't get out of his seat for villa's goal, or any of the frequent argy-bargies.
I truly don't know what he does, he certainly shows no outward sign of interest in their matches.

Perhaps he's the shy type

Not the 'worst' Spurs side I've watched!! But I've been watching over 50 years
But Pottychino finished 8th in Spain, 8th with Southampton and guess where Spurs are now?????

The sun reached us towards the end of the ugly derby and more rain arrived during the Spuds game.

City and Utd looked like two tribes gone to war and always in the refs face for any lamentable decision, Smalling left his brain on the changing room seat and then Utd lost Rojo through injury. Blind was fortunate to stay on as well, I thought, then again I'm not the ref.

Not sure what's wrong with the Spuds, might be the Manager or the Bald chap in the boardroom, but they certainly seem to be lacking something this season. Sending off changed things slightly and how long before Woy gives the Kane lad a run out in an England shirt.

Roy Keane probably thinks his job ends on the training ground and match days are a major inconvenience. With that beard though could get a part in the remake of Planet of the Apes.

Wolves were unlucky not to win 10-0 although not seen it, looks like an excellent result for the Blues.

Happy Mark Hughes not happy with the ref after Song tried to amputate someone's leg with his two footed challenge, but played the advantage and Moses just gave the ball to Downing and off we went and scored. Ref never even booked Song after the event, which made Hughes even more unhappy.

Is it me or are Refs just getting worse.

We are BLUES victor...not "THE blues"..not griping at you Victor ~~just having a footie passage....

FUTURE FOOTIE FOLKLORE...

The Dame Karren had to apologise for allowing one stand to have the seats have the logo "The Blues" when she became educated in our folklore. Think "West Ham Olympic" as a vision of Dame Karren's footie knowledge and sensitivity ! That logo Costed too much for Sully/Gold to change it as the FL grant for re-furbishment of St Andrews, ran out and they wouldn't put their own penny in.

Chelsea are "The Blues" these days, although once when I did refer to them as "The Pensioners" - affectionately - some in-law wannabe Chelsea supporters look blank at me. Like I'm an ignorant thug who shouldn't be in their parlour....and we ain't been invited back in 5 years.

My partner's relations !
- and she is basically pleased that I insulted them...when I didn't actually insult them...they were always "The Pensioners" to me.

They used to have "Chelsea Pensioners" sat along the line. I've nothing but respect for the pre-Bates era.
He changed all that.

And Man City used to be called the "Sky Blues"...and the new tag on the BBC is "Blues"

Anyway, the orginal "Blues"...unfortunately...is Birmingham...1896.....
with a knickname as a colour of your shirt ~ showed how thick or working class you were ...when maybe coming up against the mighty Corinthians or Eton pre-1899 ... and yelling the colour of your club, because you don't know better against the 'toffs'...who yell "Rah Rah"

You yell ......"Blues"

Blues is Brum...always has been.

No "THE"...trust me...

The BBC is a bit full of itself at the moment because it's got the FA Cup back. I heard one of its idiot presenters refer to it as the peoples cup. "You are now watching the peoples cup final on the paedophile channel".

lets not forget how woeful spurs were last year against the top 3

being beaten 4 5 6 - 0 with ease under avb and sherwood
which gets forgotten because of the 21 wins

this season man city did them 4-1 away liverpool 0-3 at home
but then they beat the inform team of the epl southampton 1-0 at home

early days but poch doesnt strike me as the type that fails

i think spurs never realised how much bale meant to the side
as a whole until he was gone

their yet to refind the balance between attack and defence which made them a top 4 side
for awhile under redknapp - even when they were they still managed some bad runs
the quality he had was far better than the current squad for proven performers
- modric , van der vart etc

virtual keyboards suck -
