He was a top guy, and this is so sudden, he was posting just a few days ago, without any hint of what was to come, was it some sort of accident?
RIP Winebeavis. |

I just learned of this and I am deeply saddened by his passing. I just saw his name on the moderator list in one of the non GN&D sections. This morning was very strange. When I logged on, on my usual morning session there were no moderators of any kind around except palo5 and scoundrel, and there seemed to be very little posting of any kind happening. I did not know what to make of it. I was speaking to palo5 on Skype and he did not know what was happening either. Winebeavis's posts on his thread: The Thread For Off Topic Comments were always so funny, and he was always able to take a joke or teasing. I will miss him very much.

Sometimes life blindsides us. Hits us with something so overwhelmingly shocking that words cannot be formed. This is one of those moments. Several weeks ago a co-worker lost his wife at 47. He read the following quote at the end of her funeral. Said he found comfort in the words. Upon learning of Jeffrey's death those same words sprung to mind and it made me feel a little better. I hope you will too. "Don't be sad. I am in a snowflake, I am in the rays of sun, I am in the sparkling of stars." Author Unknown RIP Jeffrey. |

Saddened but must pay respects. Condolences to his wife and family. Rest in peace with the angels in heaven. May you make them laugh like you made us laugh. |

I am paralyzed and very saddened to learn of WB's passing! Except for a little occasional ribbing back and forth in his Off Topic thread I did not know him as well as some of you others did. He could dish it out and he could also take it very well.
My sincere condolences to his wife, family, and friends! In reading the news posted about his passing I would have to say that should be considered the most Off Topic post thus far! RIP winebeavis!

This is terrible. I had seen that Winebeavis had stepped away from modding not that long ago but then he's been back posting recently. I can't recall ever seeing anyone having a problem with him here, he was just a class guy through and through. The last couple of weeks I've seen four names of four people I've had the acquaintance of in the local obits but I'm not prepared to ever see it here in fantasy land.
Beavis will know what to do.

R.I.P.
Seemed to have been a really cool guy.Was the first to respond to a thread I started in the GDN,had a great and twisted music taste. Wish his family and friends all the best. "I hope the energy of your soul will soar through the galaxies, and help create new stars and life in the great beyond". |
