The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love
I always told myself that if I ever made it to London, my 1st question would be what the hell is this all about?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRYNYb30nxU I was with a girl when this song came out. She was into all that hair spray rock music from the '80's & fell in love with this band. She just had to make me hear it. At 1st listen, I thought it was a joke. After hearing it a few times, I'm not so sure it's a joke. If it is a joke, I don't get it. The only part of the song that's stuck in my head is the chorus. Thank God for small miracles, I guess . |

Sweet Home/ Werewolves/ All Summer Long

http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20058032_2,00.html The fact that these two songs (quite accidentally) share the exact same chord progression was pointed out to me by one of the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd many years ago. He's now sadly deceased, but then again, aren't they all? |

For the last couple of decades, whenever I hear or read the word "lobby" this pops into my head, and stays stuck for days. And people wonder why I drink.

So Fvcking Rock
Against my will, I dunno.
I recently watched a Tim Minchin DVD called "Rock & Roll Nerd", which was surprisingly good, although this little nugget keeps creeping back in my minds mp3 playa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvhG6...eature=channel Although this isn't the version on the DVD ... but then neither is this live version .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbErr...eature=related I can almost guarentee if you watch one twice or both of 'em, you'll be humming it tommorow |

Space : Magic Fly
"This thread can seriously damage your health". Browsing this thread and listening all that stuff is maybe 78 000 000 times more hardcore than just getting drunk and looking for trouble. This thread is psychoacoustical Via Dolorosa, so let`s stay on it for while and listen more funny suicidal stuff with repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat. Basically I love this song but sometimes someone let this record play in my head for too long time and it get bloody annoying. This supercool vintage musicvideo with dancing girls and diy-spacesuits is so good that while watching it you are already haunted, wait just few days and it starts to play in your head!

Patrick Hernandez - Born To Be Alive
Not to be confused with Porn to be Alive Hernandez is actually a Frenchy. He made a fortune with this "song" which became an international hit. Watch out it may hit you too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVgM7qeAlko |
