I was with a girl when this song came out. She was into all that hair spray rock music from the '80's & fell in love with this band. She just had to make me hear it. At 1st listen, I thought it was a joke. After hearing it a few times, I'm not so sure it's a joke. If it is a joke, I don't get it.

The only part of the song that's stuck in my head is the chorus. Thank God for small miracles, I guess

The fact that these two songs (quite accidentally) share the exact same chord progression was pointed out to me by one of the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd many years ago. He's now sadly deceased, but then again, aren't they all?
