I did a ' Windows 10 ' large update on Monday 11th December - and the damn computer , afterwards has no sound - and was missing icons at the bottom of the screen - result - no computer for the rest of the week - as I was working in Dundee for the next 5 days ( for Agency work ) - so only today was I able to use the computer -
and it cost me £ 20 , dear Microsoft - can you not test your damn updates before releasing them - I checked with the Computer Guy and its not just me that gets hit like this - really annoying ..

When my computer runs well. I immediatly block windows or other softwares (apart the antivirus) to make updates.

But one thing is sure... we are far too much runned by or addicted to our computers.

What annoys me is when palo5 and I have a disagreement about Apple, he calls them an expensive overpriced toy .... true, it is my toy overpriced, well I pay for quality ..... but annoying is when he always dodges my question on why I just don't get problems

Love to agree with you, but my best pal who probably took an oath of allegiance to Apple at birth, had a High Sierra update quite recently and as a consequence, it completely buggered up his ability to write to FAT32 files, which allow transfer to a Windows machine and playback on things like TVs, etc. Apparently this last update also caused a load of other issues which have not gone down well with the Mac Brigade. All that and Macs are apparently now becoming more vulnerable to the malitious online stuff us misguided Windows users have been putting up with for ages. I'll refrain from any laughter at this point :-)

Default Schools of state administration

A lot of politicians all around the world have written laws that allow enterprises and rich people to avoid taxes.
If there was an international regulation there would be not these "tax optimisations".
If the people drafted the laws, instead of politicians, it probably would be illegal. But politicians put the subject under the carpet.

Here is an incredible example.

Some French private customers who buy an airplane at Dassault airplane enterprise, do not want to pay the French VAT that cost 20%.
20% of VAT on an airplane of 50 millions will cost to them 10 millions of taxes.
So Dassault has an office in Isle of Man to transit the sales and propose to their customers to create an enterprise in Isle of the Man for 10 thousands EUR and then to avoid the French VAT.

Like that each years, 350 billions of EUR are theft to the common people all around the world. 20 billions only in France...
And then politicians tell us that we don't get money to improve our state infrastructures!!!! WTF.

I forgot to mention that normally you can come back to the old update if the new one is crap.
Just before to update, look how you can save your actual "good-working" update.

Thanks I'll read up on that, I upgraded to High Sierra and only issue I had was it seemed to take forever to download and install, other than that she's still running like a dream, that said I am fair and can't say there isn't an issue with it I'm unaware of.
