The longer they can keep the russiagate question alive the less they have to talk about there deficiency of strategies why did they ignore their base concerns among other things. It also gives them coverage to run the exact same strategy over again , which they want to do more than anything.

Well Yes I do but that comment was pertaining to Rog's post.
In retrospect I should have made that clear

Mueller not recommending any more indictments in Russia probe

And that hysteria used up far too much time and attention in a nation with plenty of real issues to worry about.

Yes, as much as possible of Mueller’s report should be released to the public, if only to reduce the inevitable conspiracy theorizing. We guarantee that various bitter-enders are going to start noting again that Mueller’s a Republican, as if that were news.

Sadly, even a report that clearly states that there’s zero evidence President Trump and his campaign team ever did anything wrong won’t bring an end to the nonsense.

The Democratic-controlled House is already starting its own “investigations,” which will be enough to launch hundreds of news stories about what they might find, and about what anonymous sources claim they have found.

But most Americans will learn a big lesson from how the chattering classes misrepresented the Mueller probe. The hysterics will be playing to ever-smaller audiences while the rest of the country moves on.
As has been noted, we don't know what Mueller has recommended in his report. It is pretty certain that clear evidence of collusion has not been found. We don't know if Trump is off the hook for obstruction of justice or prosecution deferred because of presidential immunity.

A whole host of evidence from Mueller's investigations has been handed off ot district prosecutors. I read an article this past week that noted that every entity Trump managed over the past ten years is either under indictment or being sued. There are well over 1,000 court actions in progress.

So as for Trump's innocence I am reminded of a joke my late Uncle Jim liked to tell about the government investigating accusations that Marlboros were being made of horse droppings and splinters. The lab tests were extensive, "but didn't find any splinters."

Would suggest that plenty evidence of "collusion" has been unearthed. Trump asking in public for the release of illegally obtained emails is sufficient. There is no legal definition of collusion. What has not (probably) been found is court sustainable evidence of conspiracy, there being a legal definition for that. How Trump supporters can stomach his being in bed with Putin and his ilk will forever remain a mystery.

It is about access to power. Mr Trump allows power and influence to people who should not be allowed anywhere near it, such as professional and amateur God-botherers, the ones who tell us that this atrocious malefactor was sent by God to save America/Israel/Peewee Herman etc.

Those that want Trump gone will see signs of what they want in what ever part(s) of the report that are released for general consumption. Those that like him() will see a made up bunch of garbage IMO.
I have seen interviews with some of the D committee heads and to me, again IMO, they come across as very eager to get the POTUS. IMO again if there is evidence of wrong doing it should go forward in prosecution but don't grasp at straws or even make something out of nothing.

There remains the policy of DoJ that they will not indict a sitting president, regardless of the strength of evidence.
