What sort of deal could she have got that the Remainers would've agreed to which would have been acceptable to more than a few of the Leavers?

The Remainers were always whinging about a "No deal Brexit" not being an option, which basically told the EU that they would accept any deal, which then allowed them to give a bad/not not very good deal to Mrs. May and now we find that they wold not accept the deal the EU gave.

The Remainers, including Jeremy Corbyn and his Merry men and Women are a big part of this farce, as all they wanted to do was play politics and try to force a general Election.

As far as I'm aware, one of their arguments is "Vote for us, we'll negotiatate a better deal", even though the EU has previously stated (before Xmas) that there will be no new negotiations.

If that is true, then Jeremy Corbyn and his merry men and women are lying to the entire country and should be ashamed off their dishonourable selves.

If the EU does agree to new negotiations, then they lied to Britain and the world before Xmas, and should be ashamed of their dishonourable selves, and would show that the EU was a disgraceful 'gang' of turds and that we are better off out of that gang.

What sort of deal would they offer and what sort of deal would Jeremy Corbyn and his merry men and women accept?

I "suspect" that we'd remain in the single market, we'd remain in the customs union and we would have free movement of EU citizens.

In short, we would have a deal that would see Britain leaving the EU in name only, which would show up the Labour Party as liars who take the British people for fools.

Let's be realistic about what's been going on in Westminster. We have someone who is beginning to look slightly deranged running the country. She is only holding on to power because of support from a bunch of pro-religious zealots - who can't run their province properly. It doesn't matter what Corbyn and Co have said, the Labour Party are not in office and the fact is that the Tories are supposed to be running this country in a professional manner and doing their very best on behalf of the British people. A large number of Conservatives recognised that May was not up to the job some time ago and she now ranks as perhaps the worst UK PM in modern history.

Forget the people who are seriously concerned about damaging the economy if you like, but May is going to destroy the Tory Party if things continue along the present path. She must stand down, or somehow be removed from the job by her colleagues as this power crazed woman doesn't have a clue what she is doing. Even if you are a diehard Conservative Daily Mail reader who is sworn to never fault any aspect of the party, it is hard to overlook just how badly things have gone.

Not at all. The reason you got that lousy deal from the EU is because of May's arbitrary "red lines" that no one voted for. With those conditions, the EU won't offer more

Corbyn can get a better result if he's not so dogmatic. But he would need a majority to do it

I haven't been watching TV that much because I am sick of seeing Trump on it, but I have noticed that Brexit seems to be the main topic of conversation on this forum. So I turned on the TV just to see what they were talking about - and the stories were about crime.

Local news on the internet seems to discuss the same topic.

So that is why the Northern Californians I know, don't know anything about Brexit but do profile every black person they see near them. Seems like every violent themed story I have seen this year on the net or on TV involves black people. Don't know if that is racist or just coincidence.

First point - a fair number of Brits are on this forum. Brexit is an issue of significant importance to many of us, as it involves major changes to many things.

Second - As I know from living in West Los Angeles some years ago, Americans tend to be somewhat isolated from international news and often don't really care what anyone outside the country is doing. This can also apply to different states sometimes. However, there is probably some interest in the fact that the UK, with it's perceived lower crime rates, is experiencing the same kind of problems as the US, for reasons that seem similar.

The UK has seen an explosion of violent crime and murder involving black teenagers in recent years. I don't have any problems with black people and just say this as a matter of fact. Parts of big cities like London and Birmingham are no go areas and the same thing has been happening in cities like Paris and other EU capitals. Many blame the influx of young immigrants from pretty awful places like Somalia, where life is very cheap and crime is a way of life. In somewhere like London, there are plenty of rich pickings and the willingness to use lethal force may have spread as a result of influential third world attitudes. It seems that most of the major drug gangs are now black, often buying in their products from East Europeans and Russians, who are just as ruthless.

Add to this a substantial reduction in police resources across the country and a move to take more interest in making money from drivers straying over the speed limit or people posting "hate" messages online and it has taken things in a very bad direction, with the public losing confidence in UK law and order.
