I disagree. There are tens of thousands of golf courses all around the world now thanks to the great Arnold Palmer. Golf used to be played only by the rich and royalty. Now children through adults play on public and private golf courses, but teenagers can learn how to be better and bettter at the game ( it is not called a sport, but a game)
because of courses in schools and with golf coaches called swing coaches. Even the professionals use swing coaches. For professional golf there are what are called tours, depending on the skill of the player. Players can try to get onto the PGA Tour by going through a series of tournaments that they have to win. If they don 't they can qualify to get on a lesser tour that pays much less money. It is similar to what they have in professional baseball. There are the major leagues and the minor leagues. Every professional golfer would like to be able to qualify to be on the PGA Tour where winning any of 46 tournaments /year where the winning purse is between $800,000 and 1.7 million dollars. There are only 125 professional golfers that make up the PGA Tour. These are the very best golfers in the world. And I don't think golf is boring. It is fantastic to watch these superbly skillful players make great shots, shots that only a few players out of millions of amateurs throughout the world could only dream of making.
