Looking for help identifying seventies UK TV programme (strippers).
This is a very long shot but here goes.
When I was a kid in the seventies, there was a programme which came on the television around 9pm and featured strippers in a pub dressed in cowboy gear They proceed to take off their gear to the tune of 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' - and very sexy it seemed too to a growing boy. Unfortunately, at this point I was ushered to bed by my babysitter so I only got to see the beginning of the striptease. I've often wondered what that programme was and if I could ever get to see what I was denied all those years ago. The programme was probably a drama and was on BBC1, BBC2 or ITV (the only choice of channels in those days). It was probably around 1975 to 1978. Sorry I can't provide more info - but just in the off chance someone here knows what I am talking about, I thought I'd post a request here. I have tried searching on the internet but no luck. Anyone have any ideas? |

Wow! I never thought I'd get an answer to this - never mind an answer so quickly. That looks to be the right one too. Thank you so much, fredbloggs! I can now watch what was denied to me nearly 40 years ago.

For those who are interested, I've made a new edit of Tania's strip, cutting out the dialogue etc. and combining the two strips she does. I've set it all to the original soundtrack recording of The Good The Bad And The Ugly. Hope you like it.

Further to this - I remember reading a stripper expose in the News of the World probably between 1980 and 1983 about strippers and giving extras
Basically this same story was on channel 4 I seem to recall (I was quite young then) - it was based in the north of England (maybe Newcastle) and I loved watching the strippers who were dressed as a schoolgirl (with a hockey stick), a stripper with a snake and also a third stripper Would anyone be able to identify what this was? or ideally have footage or stills? Cheers James |

Some of the footage can be found here:
http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho....php?p=2580820 but it doesn't include the girl with the hockey stick. It's mainly the one with the snake and the Chrissy Hynd lookalike. regards 40+

The documentary was a part of a post news at 10 programme called First Tuesday. I remember seeing it trailed & then discreetly recording it on video whilst I was at work in a pub at the time. There was also a good BBC2 Open Door programme around about the same time with a similar theme that covered the London East End Strip Scene. Plenty of 'self polution' material on both programme led me to my first Gentleman's Evening a few weeks later. As an 18 year old, it was the first time I'd seen a fully naked woman in the flesh. A vision that stays with me vividly to this day now that I'm in my 50's lol !!
