Teaks...

However, I think he'll survive till the mid-terms are closer
~ and if the GOP numbers go through the floor, you'll have a very receptive following for an impeachment.

In history, all bombasts and bullies have been dictators or supreme leaders which is what Trump doesn't realise. He is hemmed in by counter-checks where his excess of zealotary and ego can be curbed.
One non-supreme leader, although a bombast and bully, was saved by the actions of a fragile military dictatorship in Argentina.
The UK had a war, and Mrs Thatcher went from near-negative approval to sainthood overnight and over many, many dead bodies.

Trump may need a war ~ I'm serious if his approval sinks lower and lower. I only hope that no Nation is stupid enough to give him such a reason.

Outside of the USA, Trump is begining to be reported by even the most astute and supportive media as being a figure of fun.
That is dangerous.

Not one third of the way into the "100 Days" and we have chaos and dissembling on a grand scale.

Personally, two things keep springing to mind.

The Emporer's New Clothes - Hans Christian Anderson
The Madness of King George - play/movie.

Well, three things if you include syphlis, and it's effect on the brain..

So we went from "No drama Obama" to this message, in three weeks. They even mess up the phrase "In like Flynn". A sucessful Trump presidency is looking about as likely as a virgin turning out a prostitute.

I knew this administration was going to be 'unconventional' and at times border on chaotic. I didn't expect it to descend in buffoonery within the first 100 days. According to various things the far-far right is now going after Preibus because they don't like that he's only far right and blame him for Flynn having to resign because they think Preibus is leaking information to the media.

Then the great enablers in Congress decide to step up. Wait, did I say step up, I mean shake their heads and mumble.

Paul Ryan:

Quote:
I’m not going to prejudge circumstances surrounding this. I think the administration will explain the circumstances that led to this.
If this had been an Obama or a Clinton adviser there would be hearings for the next fifteen years. They'd be demanding heads on a pike. Not to mention that he ignored the fact Trump's known for 17 days, if Trump "demanded his resignation" the way Spicer claims- why did it take 17 days?

And Trump's failing at his being 'So Good at the Military Your Head Will Spin' (what ever the hell that means).

Quote:
Gen. Tony Thomas, head of the military’s Special Operations Command, told a military conference on Tuesday that the upheavals in Washington are rippling through the American military.

“Our government continues to be in unbelievable turmoil,” he said. “I hope they sort it out soon because we’re a nation at war.”
I think what's worse is this administration believes their own lies.

Like this one, today.

Quote:
We're bringing back jobs big league. We're bringing them back at the plant level, we're bringing them back at the mine level. The energy jobs are coming back," he continued. "A lot of people going back to work now.
Since inauguration day companies have announced more than 18,000 layoffs and job relocations outside the US. The above quote was at a signing for the repeal of a statute that required oil, gas, and coal companies to disclose payments (bribes) to foreign powers. What does that have to do with bringing jobs to the US? It's just letting companies be sleazy and fund corrupt regimes without anyone knowing about it. It doesn't do squat for US workers.

The belief that coal mines throughout the east are going to reopen and tens of thousands of miners are going to be employed again is a joke. Want to help the miners, improve the schools, get them some job training opportunities. Coal is pretty much dead (except for the steel industry). It's dirty and the cheap to get stuff was dug out of the ground more than thirty years ago. Stop giving those families false hope. Give them something real.

Utterly lacking in priorities and irrational to where it's impossible to discuss or negotiate anything with them. Hmm, depending on the time of the month, almost all women can fit that description. Hence the famous question: "If a man is alone in the forest and he says something with no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?"

Bear in mind that 20% of women have either been raped or sexually abused as minors. 50% of women have experienced sexual violence other than rape. So, women can be a bit cranky in the company of men. Plus, many of them are so competitive, they can't have women friends.

But I know what you mean. These are the women who complain that they can't find a good man, or men just use them for sex. Sister, can you blame us for getting out of Dodge when the booze wears off? Only a masochist will stick around for your ball busting harpy act.

I'll never forget the broad I met through an online dating site who spent the initial encounter complaining about her father and her ex. Then was upset when I didn't want to hang around and buy her dinner. She's lucky I didn't stick her with the tab for the drinks.

Default A long article by David Dayen

that is rather scary on the many things that can be done to weaken restraints on big business - and some on what could be done by Trump to try and influence those banks that he owes money to...

Candidate Trump promised to take on Wall Street. As deregulator-in-chief, he will be Wall Street’s best friend

Why is the stock market doing so well if this nation is doing so bad under this president? He is the first president who has common sense in decades & is actually doing what he said in his campaign , that's why he was voted in, super duper libs. You are all pissed because he is doing what the people elected him to do, & its not lefty apologetic. We also need non super lefty sources to see how bad you super lefties say things are going.
The stock market is doing well because wealthy people are bidding up the price of shares and corporations are using record profits to buy back and reduce the number of shares rather than investing in expanding capacity and increasing wages and the workforce. In the meantime, real wages for workers haven't kept pace with inflation, the middle class is shrinking, and the percentages of the homeless and people living in poverty has grown.

You might notice how many stores are closing and how much retail and office space is vacant.

When did you move to Texas?

As for the chaos happening in Trump's first 100 days..
You can blame that on the "Shadow Government" currently working against the present elected government.
The shadow government I spoke of is not paranoia it obviously exists.
And is most likely receiving it's orders by none other than Barack Hussein Obama.
A lot of Obama and Clinton lackeys are still in non-elected positions and more than willing to leak information whether it be top secret or merely politically damaging.
Why on Earth would Obama want to get involved in the current mess, when Trump is doing such a wonderful job?

But here's a pic of the Obamas on holiday in the British Virgin Islands alongside Sir Richard Branson...

They're both probably thinking "thank fuck THAT'S over!"

No need for proof. someone saying, "Obviously" or "Most likely," establishes its truth. Welcome to the world of alternate facts.
