I've just joined that petition over here in blighty .....
To welcome Donald to the UK when he makes his state visit .
I love the Donald !

The world has changed my friends .
You've got a death cult terrorist organization saying they will use the migrant crisis to send sleeper cells over to the west .

So we have to change the rules too .
Get angry with Isis not Donald

This may be true, but the AG and Deputy AGs are political appointees and serve at the whim of the POTUS. A lifetime spent working in Corporate America has taught me that one will be clearing out one's desk very quickly in the event of vocal disagreement and public rebellion against management. It would be shocking if the appointed levels of government worked any differently. The military certainly doesn't.

If one wishes to save stupid managers from themselves and serve the customer, it is best to do so quietly and covertly. There are many ways for smart attorneys to quietly sabotage a client.

Given what we have seen, she was likely only going to be in the job a few more days in any event. So what's better to go out in a public blaze of sound and fury, or to very quietly sabotage your enemies?

Sounds like they hired an example. Probably knew how she would act given the situation, she knows that she cannot do anything to sabotage the situation in the short time she would have, might as well go out in a blaze and get your name out there, especially if she has private sector plans..

I've been watching the news media(s) a lot lately and one thing is for sure... even some of the best Hollywood comedy writers couldn't create a better show.

The scene with Chuck Schummer, standing beside a family of Muslim immigrants and crying while stating how "mean spirited" this Executive Action was... I admit I have to agree with Mr. Trump's tweet "my compliments to your acting coach".

Yesterday, Mr. Schummer vowed to block Mr. Trump's Supreme Court nominee, even before "the Donald" announced who it would be, last night.

And, after Mr. Trump announced his Supreme Court nominee (last night), CNN had a "townhall' meeting with Nancy Pelosi. I can't believe that Californians continue to re-elect this person after (8 years ago) she stood up on the national stage and said "We won't know what's in it until we pass it", speaking about the affordable health care act.

Meanwhile, the news media continues to call for transparency from the new administration... I can tell you all that it's not likely to happen. The really successful businessmen always "hold their cards close to the chest".

The coming months should prove to be quite entertaining... and we may as well find it to be that way (my friends), because (like cable TV) the American taxpayer is paying for it.

I did not support Trump. I don't hate the guy, but am frankly aghast that he's our President now.
While on a few of the issues I come down on his 'side'; his personality is wrong for a President.
His heavy-handed way of doing things I am not a fan of.

I am also increasingly frustrated by the reaction to him. He's duly elected, let's figure out a positive way to move on, not tear everything apart because we're mad about it.
I remember when it took weeks and the Supreme Court to decide Bush/Gore I was so proud of our country in the peaceful way we handled it as a nation.

Maybe he'll settle down and become tractable...who knows. At any rate in 4 years we'll have another chance.

If things then are the same as now we'll get him again.

I'm just wondering what percentage of the total US electorate is 3 million voters?

I'm also wondering if any of the implementation of the travel ban law has been done in a crass and confusing manner in order to discredit the law and Trump by people who are opposed to him, or has it been done that way because the wording of the law is so unclear that it produced such crass and confusing results?

Default Trump to order review that could relax Dodd-Frank bank rules

I mentioned elsewhere that Mr Trump made a campaign pledge to repeal and replace the Dodd-Frank act:

http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...postcount=5281

Looks like he means to go ahead with that pledge:

US President Donald Trump is expected to take his first steps to scale back financial services regulations on Friday.

He is due to sign an executive order to review the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial regulations, which some people on Wall Street say are overly-restrictive.

The law was brought in after the 2008-09 financial crisis with the aim of avoiding another financial meltdown.

"Dodd-Frank is a disaster," Mr Trump said earlier this week.

He added: "We're going to be doing a big number on Dodd-Frank."

Details:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-38858009

Dodd-Frank might not be perfect, but here's a little reminder why it came into being:

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the Donald has in store - hopefully it will include a pledge that when the next crash happens (and there's always another), it won't be Main Street footing the bill for Wall Street...

The incompetence displayed by Trump's immigration orders will be terrifying in a crisis

What should be viewed differently is the reality that all presidents end up needing to deal with crises of one type or another. So far, Trump has exclusively faced crises of his own creation, and he’s handled them disastrously.

So how will Mr. Trump handle the bad news of rising unemployment, plunging health coverage, and little if any crime reduction? That’s obvious: He’ll deny reality, the way he always does when it threatens his narcissism. But will his supporters go along with his fantasy?

Seriously, how do you think the man who compared the C.I.A. to Nazis will react when the Bureau of Labor Statistics first reports a significant uptick in unemployment or decline in manufacturing jobs? What’s he going to do when the Centers for Disease Control and the Census Bureau report spiking numbers of uninsured Americans?
