can someone tell me how the new image uploader works?
I put in different images but when I go to preview posting nothing shows up or better said just the URL for one pic.

Some will, but looking at the viewing stats of 8,000 for the discussion thread against 2.6 million for the main thread, and looking at the number of thanks per post, I still recommend you post in the main thread as well

Palo, I don´t want to start a big discussion here but if you read your own post, do you recognize something?!

You put my postings in here and cut it COMPLETE out of context and than you wrote yourself that not much people look at this thread! But than I have to post pics I want to discuss to the main thread??? How will that work out for me? Do you think if I post them there someone looks into this thread for a discussion or to exchange any infos about?
And as you said, if someone would reply to it without posting any contend, you would again move his answer to this thread and cut it also out of the context!
I am here to exchange or get new infos about Bettie, Photographers and series and not just to post pics or lurk for pics!

If it is allowed and not against the board rules, I post my stuff here now. And may it causes that other people who not only after pics look more often to this thread!
Also I am not after receiving thanks etc to get into a higher level or something.

You misunderstand. Content threads are about the model, and nothing else. "Content" is pics, clips and relevant biographical info about the model. Everything else is off-topic

If you want to discuss photo-sessions, photographers, locations or anything else not accompanied by content, this is where to do it

These two photos of Bettie, which I've taken from the main Bettie Page thread, were previously available in very grainy low resolution versions that I assume were copies of copies.

These two are crisp and clear to the point that one can see not only Bettie's inner vulvae and the apparently open mouth of her vagina but in the second photograph even individual pubic hairs.

That suggests to me that these two photographs were quite recently scanned either from a large format first generation photograph or in the case of the second one perhaps even the original large format negative.

Does anyone know the recent provenance of these two photographs? They appear to have been taken at the photo club shoots but the clarity and crispness suggests that these prints were made and released quite recently and the person who did so is probably still alive and has access to more.
