To be honest it's what many of us have always thought over the years, we keep getting told this trite old bullshit about us all being aware of the direction the EEC was heading in when we vote to stay in 1975.
The British public were deliberately kept in the dark on that matter. Is it any wonder we mistrust politicians so much and why, when given this once in a lifetime chance to vote to leave, so many of us took that opportunity.
