Remember on one of my annual trips from the UK to NYC going to a strip show on the top floor of Show World and one of the dancers was trying to persuade one of the guys in the audience to accompany her to a private booth by giving him a long blowjob. I learned very quickly that the Soho scene was indeed an absolute rip off - very much a case of reputation over reality. Although there was a brief window, in the late 80s, when the peep shows were pretty explicit - solo girl, and occasionally g/g £10 each IIRC. But then they went very tame again. I presume there was a crackdown or something.

If you wanted to see a live sex show, you'd have to scour the classifieds ... best paper was "London Weekly Advertiser" ("LOOT" was a bit prudish). I saw a few couples that way, going rate was £60 as I recall, with some (not all) couples offering extras.

There were also couples that were happy to be photographed/videoed. I did quite a few, but sadly lost all the photos/negatives and tapes in a move, before I could commit them to digital posterity.

Strangely, it seems the internet has killed off the slightly seedy classified ad scene, but (in the UK at least) there's not much to replace it ... most ad sites are rather prude again ....

I didn't know live sex shows were allowed anywhere in the US or England. I thought only the Continental European and Asian countries had them.
