A British teenager has contacted scientists at Nasa to point out an error in a set of their own data.

A-level student Miles Soloman found that radiation sensors on the International Space Station (ISS) were recording false data.

The 17-year-old from Tapton school in Sheffield said it was "pretty cool" to email the space agency.

The correction was said to be "appreciated" by Nasa, which invited him to help analyse the problem.

Seriously though I hope NASA is better at predicting near-Earth asteroids like 99942 Apophis.
Apophis will encounter Earth in 2029 and 2036, but according to Wikipedia, there was a brief period of concern in December 2004 because initial observations indicated a probability of up to 2.7% that it would hit Earth on April 13, 2029......

I just saw on my cable t.v. about this attack on Westminster and the death(s) of some policemen and others.

Not to reduce the horror of what happened in the UK, but my city of Chicago alone had 762 murders in 2016. Across the U.S. there were over 8,000 gun related murders, and that does not include murders committed by knives, or beatings, clubbings and other devices. I sometimes hear gunshots outside at night in my southside neighborhood.

Also across the U.S. last year there were 37,000 deaths related to auto accidents. Deaths by murder or by cars or by other things are so common that Americans have become complacent about the violence that surrounds us!

Seems someone wanted to copy what happened in London in Antwerp (my city).
Somebody drove at high speed in a central shopping street (people had to jump aside to avoid im), but was intercepted by police without any victims.
