Slightly off the subject but an illustration of how the UK audiences are actually treated like adults. The day after the Superbowl where Janet Jackson almost showed her tired old tits there was a documentary on Goya. To recreate one of his reclining nudes they had a painter in a studio and a live model; both tits and bush and not just a fleeting glimpse, and all at 6.30 in the evening

UK terrestrial channels have screened the 'Idiots' and 'Nymphomaniac' both showing penetrative sex scenes.
