Through the program itself, as usual Hugh.
The box with the option to update popped up when I used it for the first time this afternoon (EST). If you've been using it today, you may have to close/restart your browser.

I downloaded and installed the current hostf.xml (4/17/17) from
https://imagehostgrabber.com and it works great. I have also been manually adding a few hosts to my local version of IHG on my laptop. I would like to export and save my current hostf.xml file on my laptop and transfer and install it on my desktop to transfer and install those new hosts. I do not see any option in IHG to export the host file in this fashion - only options to import a new host file. Is it possible to do what I am attempting? Edited to add: I am running PaleMoon 27.3.0 on Windows 7. When you open the host file editor the field at the bottom of the window points to the hostf.xml file under the User directory but I am unable to follow that same path in Windows Explorer. As someone not fully versed in things IT, I have tried to get this new version to work and cannot comprehend it. Is there anyone willing to guide the less versed users? And that link comes up "cannot be found" in my Firefox?

If you want Mozilla Firefox 45.9.0esr
get it here: Links (Choose the language of your choice) https://download-installer.cdn.mozil....9.0esr/win32/ https://download-installer.cdn.mozil....9.0esr/win64/ ImageHost Grabber works with this, because this is the last stable ESR than supports old plugins. |

Running FF 51 (bit slow to update when it breaks add-ons) and IHG 1.6.5.5.1-signed.1-signed.
This is what I use to get imgbox working and to get around the click-through ad page they serve up before the image...it's only got to work until July... Host Label: imgbox URL Pattern: ^http:\/\/(?:i\.)?imgbox\.com\/(?!(login|register|tos|help|dmca)).+ Search Pattern: "REPLACE: 'http://imgbox.com/' , 'https://i.imgbox.com/'" Last edited by andw; June 10th, 2017 at 07:39 AM.. Reason: got it working... |
