Today's drink is from Austria: Edelweiss Hofbrau Kaltenhausen Weisbier, a pale golden colored wheat beer. Alcohol content 5.4%. Typical wheat beer taste of bananas and a faint taste of cloves. Pouring produces a big head. Overall very good taste.

A three-shot Nespresso Decaff and a very large Glen Garioch Founders Reserve single malt, a gift from a grateful client.

In my experience a strong coffee and a large OVD or similar Rum was often requested in Aberdeenshire pubs of the single floor flat roofed lock-up variety. The coffee is sometimes made at the landlords house and brought in in several very large Thermos Flasks.

Today's drink is from Lithuania. Gubernija Grand 9.5 Extra Lager. A medium gold color with a high alcohol content of 9.5%. Produces a large white head upon pouring. Tastes of apples and pears with residual sweetness. Strong carbonation. Overall just fair.

Today's drink is Black Sheep Riggwelter Yorkshire Ale from England. A dark brown ale that pours a creamy beige head that disappears quickly. Alcohol content 5.7%. Tastes of prune, grape, coffee, and toasted malt. Very good taste overall.

Yet the less said about Valentines day the better
