Posting additional ID's help

Can anyone help with a tutorial on how to provide additional ID's in the "Complete Magazine Scans *Discussion*" thread. Specifically, I'd like to know how to do a "Originally posted by..." (followed by an arrow). Sorry, but I get confused by some of this stuff. Thanks.

The easiest way is to hit the Quote button under the post you want to link to.
Copy the text, and paste it into your post - it has a link to the original post and the OP in the quote, as you can see above

+ only thing to remember is that Quote opens a reply in the original content thread, not the Discussion thread, just make sure you don't reply in the wrong thread. I'm pretty sure we've all done that when we're starting out.

You can edit the quote to trim it if it's a long post, or you don't want to repost all the pics

Further to Jazz67's kind help above, I have expanded on this in "layman's terms" to explain in more detail...

When you hit the quote button you will get a full list of all images posted, you then need to edit out all the ones you don't need to ID. If you want to post an ID in the discussion thread, you only need to use 2 images as an example.

To make sure you you end up with just the ones you need, make sure you leave the following in from the top. This is from the Gent magazine you kindly PM'd me with additional ID's, and I have used Michelle Webber as an example.

You must leave the [QUOTE=Spruce, and the number], after this shade all images from No 1 to 61, and remove them, then do the same from No 64 all the way down to the last QUOTE, including the brackets which needs to remain.

Then shade everything in blue, right click to copy everything, and then paste it into a new post in the discussion thread.

Remember to also add who the model is, so it will look like this...
