Well technically Israel was a state first and country afterwards and it would make things a lot easier if Palestine were recognised as a state or country in it's own right but that won't happen because they want a lot of land that is Israeli. Whether you believe it or not Israel claim their land is by divine right, granted by God, after perishing to the Egyptian Pharoahs and being enslaved/persecuted for years(nothing new there)-if you read the Passover story it details what happens-it what we read about each year and commemorate in song and verse at Passover.

Did you know, and I only found out about this from my father recently, that if you are 75 and over(and he is 82 today incidentally) you don't have to take your shoes and socks off when going through the arch at airports.

I expect the problem with this is that, as they say on Pointless, '...when we say country, we mean a sovereign state recognised by the United Nations.' Palestine is, as of last year, a 'non-member observer state' - whatever that is. So the different lists might be compiled using different criteria.

Just was informed about burger meat here in the states,mostly at FF restaurants.Apparently its not what we think it consists of.Those who tout theirs is 100% beef,ie. McDonalds,BK,Wendy's etc.,don't state where the meat comes from on the animal.A lot comes from the beasts; organ meat,large veins,cartilage,even ground up bone.Here I was thinking it had to be the muscle meat.I'll think again about consuming burgers in abundance.

One southern burger chain,has allways perplexed me,when I eat their burgers it seems gristly.After consuming it I have found I have to brush & floss to rid myself of its fat & gristle, left behind.Never ate there since.I'm going to investigate further.

That's right, and almost certainly true for nearly all frozen burgers. But it's logical. They sell the 'quality pieces' like steaks as 'quality pieces' because they get more money that way. But they still need a way to sell the 'non-quality pieces' like noses, ears and the other scraps you mention. So they make burgers out of them. They do the same with chicken nuggets and other FF

It's something everyone should know. But I don't actually blame anyone for doing it, because it means they're making the most out of the animals. In fact, as long as they don't market the stuff as the high quality burgers that are definitely available in some places, I don't even care
