Youtube video

Everything I've downloaded from youtube plays back choppy, is marked .mkv. I've never had a problem playing .mkv files, and it is rare to find video vlc won't play correctly.( Until I downloaded some video at youtube yesterday & today).MPC-HC will play but I don't like the view. (I tried to hide playback functions but no luck.)

what are you using to download maybe that's the problem?

xtrme download manager recommended by buttsie. Everything I've downloaded elsewhere with this program plays fine

If you read through the videohelp forum you'll find a plague of VLC choppy threads over many years for many formats.

Pot player does full screen with ease and has superior audio to VLC
not to mention every possible combination of viewing or making caps

or

Now, for the 1st time I cannot access Youtube.
update: Now it works once I posted this, but for 30 minutes nothing.
