Well, that's her native Hungarian name. In her most famous International appearances (most notable the "Frau Wirtin" movies) she always used the spelling Terry Torday - so this is neither here nor there.

We do tend to use the IMDb and/or Wiki to determine spelling of name, date of birth etc.

I realise that, and in this case it is not a significant issue.

There are cases though, where the info in those places is blatantly wrong; either, because over-enthusiastic contributors have dripped mis-information from fanzines etc. into the system, and now it's difficult to undo the damage; and sometimes, people with vested interests have successfully managed to massage the system.

A case in point for the former are 1970s French porn actors Claude Valmont and Thierry de Brem. Very different looking guys, but IMDb has believed for years that they are the same. (Difficult to untangle their mixed up filmographies, and with the risk that some idiot will re-submit a request for a merger in the future, because all information on the net gets copied.)

A case in point for the latter are actresses ages. Sybil Danning was for years listed at IMDb with a birth year of 1948, and now it has been "corrected" to 1952. Contemporary magazine articles from her early career in her VEF thread indicate that 1948 is the real deal. Angelique Duvier's birth year on Wikipedia is 1958, and on her thread we have gathered evidence that it's actually 1953. When Elisabeth Volkmann died, it emerged that she had managed to knock off about a decade of her real age... How many such cases really exist is anyone's guess.

The reason for stressing that is that some modelling these actresses undertook would be classified as underage if you took their publically admitted ages at face value. Some time ago, Alexandra Bogojevic was listed on Wikipedia (and also a large acting directory) with a birth year of 1963. Which means that she would have been at most 7 when she did this magazine cover:

Yeah, right!
